Our services

We bring trained divers and some of the best search technology available to every call, so the water itself is rarely the thing that stops us.

Dive Team

Our divers go through extensive training so every recovery is done safely. They are qualified to run all of our equipment and they work each scene with patience and care.

  • Extensive, ongoing dive training
  • Qualified on every piece of our gear
  • Safety and dignity before speed

Remote search

ROV

Our remotely operated vehicle is built for speed and reaches water that sits well beyond any diver. It sends back high resolution video and can inspect depths a person simply cannot, so we can search far more of the water.

  • High resolution video
  • Dives beyond 300 metres
  • Inspects where divers can't go

Sonar

When the water is too dark or diving isn't safe, sonar does the searching for us. We run towed side scan, ROV mounted multi beam, and LiveScope, which lets us recover people even when visibility is poor.

  • Towed side scan sonar
  • ROV mounted multi beam
  • LiveScope live sonar

Recovery Vehicles

Each site is different, so we bring the right vehicle for the water and the ground around it.

  • The Whaly 500R is a double walled poly boat with a foam core. It is almost impossible to sink and very hard to damage, which makes it our first choice on the water.
  • The TMC pontoon has a wide deck for dive work, a full enclosure that keeps crews out of wind and rain, and lighting for night searches.
  • The CanAm Defender Max runs on tracks, so it reaches the rocky and muddy ground other vehicles can't.

How a search works

From the first call to bringing someone home.

Step one

The call

A family, a police service or a search group reaches out. We talk through what is known and get moving.

Step two

On the water

We read the site and choose the right mix of divers, sonar and the ROV, then begin a careful, methodical search.

Step three

Bringing them home

When we find the person, we recover them with dignity and give the family the answer they have waited for.
