Dive Team
Volunteer divers trained to carry out every recovery safely and with care.

When someone is lost beneath the water, we go down to bring them home.
Hutterian Emergency Aquatic Response Team
Our purpose
HEART is a volunteer underwater search and recovery team. When someone drowns, their family is often left waiting for an answer that never comes. We find that answer, with care and at no cost to the family, so they can begin to grieve.
What we bring
Trained divers working alongside some of the best search technology available, so poor visibility, depth and rough terrain are never the reason a family goes without answers. See all services
Volunteer divers trained to carry out every recovery safely and with care.
High resolution video that reaches past any diver and searches the water far more thoroughly.
Side scan, multi beam and LiveScope for the times visibility is poor or diving isn't possible.
A near unsinkable boat, an enclosed pontoon lit for night work, and a tracked rig for rough ground.

Where we respond
HEART grew out of the Hutterian community, and we respond to calls across Western Canada and beyond. If a family or an agency needs an underwater search team, we will sort out the distance. The call comes first.
The work still costs money to do. Dive gear, sonar, fuel and the vehicles are paid for by donations and sponsors. Your gift keeps the team ready for the next call.
